I began my photography journey capturing landscapes in my state of Colorado and across the United States. Years later, I decided to explore a local wildlife refuge where I spotted my spark bird: The American Kestrel- The smallest raptor in North America! I watched as it hovered mid-air over the tall grass, locking its head completely still while adjusting its tail feathers and wings to compensate for the wind. That encounter ignited my passion for wildlife and a greater appreciation for Mother Nature. By sharing my work, I hope to promote empathy and conservation for these species and protection of these landscapes for future generations.
